Origin:  Gragenit was sired by the famous black stallion Grannus.  His progeny are successful show jumpers around the globe.  As of 1999, the FN reported that his offspring have earned him over 4.6 Million DM which placed Grannus in the record books for jumping horses.  In the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, he had three offspring competeing in jumping including Top Gun la Silla which helped the Netherlands win the Team Gold medal and he was 5th in the individual.  Grannus has over 140 horses competing at international “S” level with 2,292 placings.  The Dam’s father Gepard, comes from the famous stallion Gotthard who made his name in producing jumping horses.  Gepard himself was the father of Gonzo I who was standing in the USA before his death.  Gotthard’s offspring winnings are also over 2 Million DM which makes Gotthard a bloodline that breeders are looking for.  He has 55 horses competing in “S” level with 1116 placings, a record which is hard to beat.

Performance record:  At the Medingen 100 day test, Gragenit achieved a perfect score of 10.0 in Jumping Under Saddle, winning the jumping portion of the test with an incredible score of 134.92.  Not only does he pass his incredible type and jumping ability to his foals, but also all of his foal have powerful and correct gaits.
